Picnic at Neermin South

One of the most picturesque towns in the West Gippsland region, Neerim South is set in the hills at the base of Mt Baw Baw. Neerim South is a busy tourist town servicing the snow traffic in winter and the gourmet traveller year-round. It is home to interesting art and craft galleries in attractive surroundings and is popular for those wanting a short break at any number of quality B&Bs in the surrounding countryside. While in Neerim South, make sure you visit the Village Bakehouse for a range of breads baked in the original wood fired oven built in 1880.
